50 Times Older People Failed To Use Social Media, And It Was Hilariously Adorable
Social media is there for everybody, but that doesn't mean that everybody should use it.
Check out this hilarious list compiled by Bored Panda to see what we mean. In it you'll find countless examples of older people trying, and failing, to figure out just how this fancy and newfangled social media business works. From dads failing to communicate properly with Siri to grandpas who can't take a joke about their suspiciously fake-looking Metallica tattoos, the people in the list below may have failed at social media, but they definitely won when it came to making us smile.

Listen up whippersnapers, some of us "older people" have been tech WAY longer than you and have transitioned just fine. My first computer was a Radio Shack TRS80, where you had to write your own programs, while sitting outside in the snow.... (I made that up)....BUT... ever heard of Quantum Link, Commodore 64, an RF modulator or 1200 baud modem?
I write my own programs all the time (Computer programming minor here) hehehe
I love the C64 - Still listen to chiptunes all the time. Miss the days where you had to wait 20 minutes for an "app" to load - curse you if your disk was scratched and it failed at 19 minutes. Load"$",8,1
Remember the manual "Teach your computer to speak basic"?
Luxury! I had to program in a shoe box. Until I was evicted. And then I had to program in a brown paper bag!!
Here goes a golden star Larry.
Larry you brought me back to the good ol' days, and yes, I've heard of all of those and also worked on a TRS80. Most of the time I spent on a Tandy1000.
You go, gramps.
He really said, whippersnappers"? What is that any way?
So when will we be able to see all the 'Brilliant' things the grandkids do on a regular basis? ;D
oh my god I'm dying
