The Faces Of The New York Subway In Fantastic Black And White Images
8Kviews
Luc Kordas is an independent photographer currently based in New York who started his photography journey about ten years ago, mostly focusing on portraits and street photography. He remained completely faithful to these two genres until this day and calls NYC "an ideal playground" for his passion.
Kordas moved to New York in 2014, and since then he continues documenting the diversity of the Big Apple in pictures. NYC subway for this photographer is like a different, smaller city with its own ecosystem that offers such a huge diversity in a relatively small territory. His favorite subjects are couples, kids, lonely-looking people, and those who are deep in their thoughts. Luc photographs them in black and white to honor the classic photography of the early 20th century, resulting in fascinating and dynamic images that emphasize emotion rather than the environment. I love this one the most. I know what the New York Subways are like, and I've never even been to America, but these photos make me want to rethink my opinions!
