No Excuse To Get It Wrong

My surgeon wanted to give me a permanent ostomy right from the get go. After doing some research, I insisted that it be done as temporary. I asked the ET nurse to “leave a note” that the surgeon would see and this is what she wrote.

I’m glad I did my research because after this surgery, she (the surgeon) was still not willing to work with me to get my ideal end result. I found a different surgeon who was able to everything the first surgeon said was impossible!
