Hi! My name is Alexa and I’m a unicorn enthusiast and color junkie from California! I love creating funny and unique photo series! I’ve had the idea for a while to do a “couples session” with my camera and I figured Valentine’s day would be the perfect opportunity! The message I want people to get from this series (besides a laugh) is that you don’t have to have a significant other or follow the traditional life plan set out by society in order to have fun!

It's not just about learning the technicalities of the camera and editing software in order to preserve a memory, for me it's manipulating an image to match how I picture it in my imagination. I believe everyone has beautiful qualities, and I want my models to be able to see themselves in the way I see them when they look at a completed image. IG: @alexatheawkwardphotog
