When you become a parent, time (in retrospect) seems to go by faster. You're doing your thing - changing diapers, pushing a stroller around, doing mounds of laundry- and BAM, it hits you...that moment of clarity and sobering reality that your life is not just yours anymore.
Well, I've been getting more and more of those moments as my son gets older... and you know what? I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Baby Suffocation Deaths From Co-Sleeping https://www.webmd.com/baby/news/20180212/baby-suffocation-deaths-from-cosleeping-rise
Co sleeping doesn't cause suffocation . Keeping the baby in different room causes attachment issues as they have to self soothe. Get your head together. Baby needs support atleast for the 1st 6-7 years. Anybody who does anything else is harming there baby.

That Time We Rode An Escalator One Thousand Times Just Because He Wanted To
I think this is every parent with a toddler at an airport. I have done more escalator and moving sidewalk "rides" than I could count.
Not sure what it is about them! The wonder of moving without moving I suppose??
Load More Replies...I would go up and down the elevators forever while my parents chatted with one another and held my hands. It was the most exciting ride!
Why does the escalator not have steps? Never seen one that was just a ramp before.
I think it's not slanted, just the angle of the picture? It's hard to tell though. Might be a flat moving sidewalk like at airports.
Load More Replies...Oh yes, my son loves the escalators. WHen we go to a mall with one we do that for an hour each time lol
Yup, here in Tucson AZ it gets too hot to be outside in the summer- so you have to look for big air conditioned spaces...One of my favorite activities to do with my energetic toddler was to go escalatoring at the mall...and I was not alone! There was often 4-5 other families with the same idea. The challenge was to get out of there without being lured into unnecessary purchases
Best Place To Sit
I remember when i was a kid i like to sleep in my mother's clean laundries (especially bedsheets) and my mom would be angry lol

The deadness in your eyes speaks volumes. I, too, wish that Thomas would run off a cliff.
hahaha. Thomas is SO creepy. I don't get how he's so popular!!
Load More Replies...Your co-viewing choices are definitely limited when they're small, buuut it's better not to expose them to the violence of Homeland!
TRUE. I can't wait to watch more exciting things with him!

Thomas the Tank Engine is the least annoying tot show out there. It was my brothers favorite and now my nephews. Keeps them quiet, has a decent plot, cute, and good songs
I love that you have the actual pictures too.. you look like an amazing family! Thanks for sharing!
From these you seem like an awesome dad who is involved and active in his son's life. Your son is very lucky to have you. There are so many absent fathers nowadays, some are absent even though they live with their kids, it is sad. I respect and commend you sir. I hope your boy turns out to be like you or even more
When eating watermelon, my brother would eat the rind instead. This was when he was 3 so basically a toddler
