Musician, artist, teacher and husband, Maxime André Taccardi has dedicated his last years to a whole new level of artist introspection and self-enlightenment, starting as the creator of amazing paints, making them with his own blood, passing through the creation and reflections of our own decadence as humans, he has invented even music that can transport you to realms far beyond and over the understanding of the common human race.
Settled in France, he still working as an art teacher in a school, but for sure, not letting the kids know the magnitude of his job...at least, not yet.

Great artist. I'm glad he has a day job because I can't see him selling a lot of his art. Such a talent, what a waste.
He's probably a full-time doctor or else I don't see how he knows how much blood to leak from himself so he wouldn't die
Load More Replies...Wow. I drew things in my blood when i was young but everyone said i was disgusting and made me chuck it out.
Or because of how much blood has been obviously used - "The last painting"
Load More Replies...either this is not the same as the others, or thats some strange coloured blood he's got
Can you imagine other body parts where he gets his...'painting materials' from?
Load More Replies...When you take a photo on the dark and forget to activate the flash
A couple of these *might* be real blood, but real blood doesn't stay that vibrant after it dries on paper, it turns a dingy brown, don't ask how I know that. Either way, the art itself is interesting, very dark and flowy, I like it.
there are mediums to keep the blood bright such as using it with ink, mixing with paints, there are not too many blood artists but the ones that do it, Spray acrylic fixative on the painting as soon as it is done, Acrylic fixative keeps blood from rotting {turning brown} it keeps it as bright as when it first comes out
Load More Replies...This art is... creative but you have to admit that there is some pain behind this. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I pray that they see the beauty in themselves :)
Amazing art. But I feel like the artist may need a hug too maybe? :/
I hope either the artist has plenty of Band-Aids or only does a painting once in a while to give themselves chance to replenish their medium of choice :)
Um cool art and all but don't actually use your blood for this. That is a whole lot of unnessecary pain. Surely you could use red ink or something? Idk, I can't imagine drawing blood just to create something. It's terrifying. Honestly though, as much as I oppose using your own blood to create something, you are an incredibly talented artist with a knack for darks and lights and contrast.
These are all great, but I doubt they're actual blood because it would have dried and turned brown, and I doubt he'd have such copius amounts of his own blood without self-harm.
