Oh man, I work at home and I tend to have the same movies running every day because they are tried and true good "background noise movies".....but they don't tend to have great plots because I don't want a distraction. This could get ugly....
I do the same thing Wanda. Working from home you need something entertaining but not so engrossing that you forget to work. Bless. At least I know someone is giving me credit for watching 'Republic of Doyle' 17 times from beginning to end... Yes b'y.
I'll have to check that one out. I'm pretty sure I'm the only reason "The Money Pit" is even still playing....they're just like "look man, we can't let that one lady in upstate NY down...." ;)
At work I go to the website www.listentoamovie.com and listen to movies while I work. So far I've listened to Pretty in Pink the most.
I didn't even know that existed, thanks!
Oh man, me too! I basically have Star Trek: Enterprise, The Day After Tomorrow, The Core, or Legally Blonde on a constant loop in the background here. I don't even know what that says about me!
Youtube has some good stuff too. Sometimes I put on an old Sherlock Holmes and just let it run through the list all day.
What did they take Star Trek: Deep Space Nine off again. Why would you watch Enterprise. I mean the music alone from NG and DSN should always be better for background noise. On a side note... is the new Star Trek on CBS subscription worth diving in to?
So happy to know I'm not the only one doing this
1. Spotify has been running a similar ad/pr move/ conversation starter for like 2 years 2. Yea, netflix knows what you watch. You can go look at your watch history, why can't they? Why are people surprised?
Netflix probably thinks i've just been binge watching Friends everyday for the last 2 years... when it's really my dogs! I put it on for them to deter them from barking when we leave. They've been watching early 90's 20-somethings turn into early 2000's 30-somethings for the last two years... and i'm pretty sure they are upset every time Monica breaks up with Tom Selleck...

Poor dogs what torture. Friends was such a dull sitcom I never understood it's popularity other then people are easily amused.
