As photography has spread all over the world in recent years, so has the number of outstanding amateur images. It’s no surprise that Myanmar is one of the most photographed places, and the pictures of the Golden Land are published on magazines and online.

Catharine Karnow from National Geographic says: “Myanmar is the most photogenic place that I have ever photographed.” That’s quite a statement from someone who has worked all over the world for such a prestigious magazine.

Another Nat Geo Photographer David Lazar has also been to Myanmar and calls it his favorite place on earth to photograph. He mentions warm and welcoming people, who are generally very open to photographers, and extraordinary sceneries.
