I worked on a team in real estate for many years and we rented apartments out in this building at 135 CPW in Manhattan. Here are 2 different drawings I did in colored pencils and oil pastels from standing on the 10th floor and looking down at these incredible art deco staircases. The building had past residents with the likes of Carly Simon and Robert DiNero. Remember showing it to Nicole Kidman once, who was totally lovely, and she had to bend down to say hello to me (I’m only 5’6″) while I had to stretch my neck back to look up and do a Ralph Kramden from “The Honeymooners” ..ahummahummahumma!! She was very pretty and I remember her smiling sweetly as she walked away with her entourage.
