My dad turned 50 this year and he wanted something special. So he organized a trip to Cornwall with my mother, brother, me and 2 of my best friends: a badass photographer, Sheridan’s Art, and an amazing makeup artist: Kika Von Macabre
We came up with a storyline about a landlord:
Meet Cornish landlord Goron as he is forced to fight for king Mordred against evil forces threatening the kingdom. After fierce battles on the cornish coast, Goron returns as a true hero. Being jealous of his success Mordred sends out Gwenora, a blue witch, to seduce Goron to the dark side, turning him against his own people. Torn between two worlds, Goron ultimately finds the power to confront Gwenora in an ultimate battle.
Will he succeed?

What do you think ?
If you are young - it is a hobby. If you are older - it is a Midlife Crisis. Weird world...
Looks like fun, whatever the age!
Sad, isn't it? These photos don't depict a man having a mid-life crisis. The person who wrote the article is the one who has a problem with his age. All I see is a man and his family having an EPIC time! And I wish I was right there, all dressed up, having my photos taken, too. I've been to Adventure Con and Comic Con, and just this past Halloween I went to Gatlinburg, and every single person in that entire town were dressed in costume! Not one of these events were for 'kids only'. And they were PACKED with people of all ages, from newborn to elderly (maybe in their 80s or older), and they were having a GREAT TIME! Nowadays, there is no age limit when it comes to having fun. It's when you STOP having fun... THAT'S when you grow old. But even those in their 90s can be young at heart. Age is just a number, after all.
The title isn't meant that serious. It was actually my fathers idea to use the word midlife crisis in the title. He thought it was a funny way to approach the whole project :)
What Ophidia said (and I can testament too as I'm the one who made the photos): it's a joke; don't take it too serious ;) I think it's a very inspiring way to say to those who aren't used to this side of creativity that it's entire possible to go crazy no matter your age.
The fact that the author of this article is his daughter, she should know whether he's going through a mid-life crisis or. I do agree with what you said about some older people being young at heart. My dad's 71 and he is, which I think was helped by being a single father to 2 teenage daughters in his 60's, and he admits that we kept him young. I act older than he does sometimes
That is so cool - fantastic way to be together as a family
These pics are gorgeous!
