California-based company MonkeyLectric created a stunning bicycle wheel display system that projects hologram-like images to both sides of your wheel. The display kicks in when you start rolling and produces the visual show while the bike is operating within 10-30 mph (15-50km/h). It works on any weather and you can upload your desired content (JPG, GIF, MOV, AVI, PNG, MPEG, and other formats) via bluetooth. The product costs roughly $1,000, but simpler versions are available for $25-60. Now, even road safety looks awesome!

Devil's advocate here: not sure this is as "safe" as suggested, as it could be a distraction for drivers.
I was thinking exactly same thing. Fifty years later, maybe not. But now, with it being brand new and all, everyone would be turning heads..
I had the exact same thought. These are very cool, but other such stuff has been made illegal for cars in various locations because of distraction. (If only loud exhausts would be made illegal too)
''Cartoon Network'' now transmitting on two wheels! ;-)
Shut up. Take all my money ☺
