Samurai Coats From Japan Bring Back Traditional Clothing With Sophisticated Twist
29Kviews
Many of us dreamed of being samurais when we were kids. In fact, I STILL dream of being a samurai, and thanks to these awesome Haori coats from Japan, that dream is still very much alive.
Haori jackets were worn by samurais over their armor during the Sengoku Period (1467-1603). These contemporary versions come from a Tokyo-based clothing store called Trove and their understated colors and warm cupra rayon lining make them perfect for the colder months. Combine them with Trove’s hakama pants to make yourself look like a true badass from the Japanese feudal era.
