A look into Lithuanian culture and you’ll quickly see Lithuanians are fond of nature, folk music and national traditions. Influenced by urban traditions, the national costumes of each region have their particular weaving technique, pattern, color, accessory ornamentations, style of tailoring and manner in which they are worn. Women’s outfits consist of a shirt, skirt, bodice and apron. Amber necklaces were highly sought after accessories . Head-dresses worn were either a kerchief, cap or the popularized floral wreaths with ribbons, usually adorning a braided hairstyle .

It is about woman empowerment and embracing the culture where they are from and showing off the beautiful journey a mom’s body goes through before having her child .
