NICE i love loose dogs. Dog poop is fertilizer. That is why i love it here in mexico. Lots of loose dogs. I have a few dogs that visit my house whenever. They seem to only show up at the right time. Why should mans best friend be on a leash?

My dog occasionally runs away and when he does I always worry he will be hit by a car, but he ends up roaming around sniffing then coming home. Dogs are really smart. This guy is just too adorable. :)

What kind of idiots allow their dogs to roam freely? Oh wait, I know the answer: the kind of idiots that don't deserve a dog. Do we allow our toddlers to wander the streets? Why not? They'd probably go home if you told them to. They'd walk around greeting people too. That is, until they got lost or abducted. Some humans are really cruel to our babies ( fur babies and human) why do I compare a dog to a toddler? I compare them because dogs have roughly the same mentality of a 2-3 year old child. Someone should punch his owners. It sounds like a sweet story. I'm sure I'm going to get crucified on this post. However, I work at an animal hospital and I volunteer in rescue. I've seen things happen to innocent pets that are virtually unimaginable, most of which are 100% preventable. So, before you say I'm a "troll" or "harsh", or whatever.... think about it. We are the animals' voice. I don't care what humans think about it, I will be an advocate for innocent animals whenever I can.

yep I am an animal lover, and I wouldn't let my dog roam like that, a lot of mean people, I knew a dog that did roam and he got himself shot and was killed

Sorry I prefer to keep my dogs safe in my yard. Dew is standing in a gas station, where people drive in to get petrol not exactly a shopping mall or ice creamery, I would safe not entirely a safe place. Not all people like dogs there are some sadistic people out there, spread the love.....no keep Dew home where you know he is safe.

If you live in the country, let them roam, IF they come back on their own, I would take my lab to my friends farm just for that purpose. Every freedom caries risk, my friends doglost a leg to the mail man. Did he stay home, hell no, he had to have his freedom.

Well, one of these days they will find him dead on the street or stolen or picked up and used as a bait dog for fighting. Bad idea to just allow him to roam.

I would find that a bit suspicious as, any normal person wouldn't let their dog roam the streets like that.

I am afraid that this was a campaign for GPS trackers:( there are different dogs on pictures...

It's all well and good that his owners had that put on his tag, but what if Dew is in a traffic accident? I think his owners are being irresponsible in letting him roam free, even with a GPS tracker on him how would they know if he'd been run over and worse killed? Would they let a two year old child roam freely? I don't think so. They need to be responsible for Dew and look after him properly.

Who picks up after the dog when he does his business?? I`d never let my dogs roam. My two dogs have four walks a day whatever the weather and they also have a large garden.

They don't care if he gets hit.. people don't pay attention .. texting talking speeding etc !! Dumb owners take his love for granted !!

Not a Good idea the dog could be killed or harmed or just never return, I could never do that and have peace of mind!!!!! Put a fence in your yard and let him wander there!!!

Leash laws? I would have taken him to the pound so his owners would have to bail him out & teach them a lesson. Very irresponsible.
