“I built a giant camera and no one cares”, says professional photography enthusiast and tractor driver Mick Burnett of Durban, South Africa . In a chance meeting on the beach with Mick, he said the camera had taken him approximately a week to construct out of paper, cardboard and plastic. “Its modeled loosely on a classic Nikon FE with precisely scaled up proportions, not that anyone gives a damn”. I asked if he had considered turning it into a pinhole camera to which he replied: “don’t be ridiculous”. He then asked me to stop wasting his time as he stood with his feet in the sand waiting for anyone to appreciate what he had created. No one else appeared to noticed his giant camera as i walked away snapping a few pics. I thought it was cool. Cheer up Mick.

You cared... and posted it on bored Panda. Some heroes don't wear capes!
Hahahaha! Might give the cape thing a go.
Load More Replies...Sadly not! Its purely decorative, but it wouldn't take much to convert into a pinhole camera. Might just do that!
