Looking For New Books To Read?

First time Bored Panda poster here…as of today, I have these books published by Pen It Publications (as Ellen Gillette) and Blushing Books (under pen name Emily Sharpe) as well as an as-told-to memoir entitled “Fully Relying on God” by Shirley Veltman. Slated for a Dec. 6 release is the third in the Yona Valley series: Peace in Yona Valley. Note: due to an oversight, Book 2 also says Book 1 on the spine, but hey, nobody’s perfect, right? I’m including an illustration from my children’s book, which I illustrated after another publisher went through several and still wasn’t capturing what was inside my head. At the encouragement of a friend, I decided to go for it, using colored pencils and pen details. Since then, I’ve illustrated for several other authors – some want simple, primarily pen and computer enhanced illustrations, but Fred Berri’s delightful “Adventures of Carmelo” series has more detailed colored pencil illustrations that I sometimes digitally tweaked. More time consuming, but better results, in my opinion. Anyway, I hope you’ll check out my books on Amazon and other online markets – Ellen Gillette books are faith-based, G/PG rated suitable for all; Emily Sharpe books (funny story there) are secular and adult with elements of power exchange and sexuality.
