Love makes the world a better place, and one Thai artist decided to prove that in her cute and minimalistic illustrations. 27-year-old artist Kornsarin Pattarasopak, better known as reenp, creates illustrations to show small fragments of love in her everyday life and how they make her happy. Simple and minimalistic, they show the essence of love and the beauty of relationships.
The artist started to create these illustrations about 2-3 years ago inspired by her own long-distance relationship. She depicts the good side of every successful relationship and how it can make you feel safe and sound. From growing plants and baking pancakes together to reminding each other to wear masks in these uneasy times and taking care of each other when one gets ill, these illustrations warm our hearts and inspire us to be better and kinder to others.
"I started illustrating my relationship about 2-3 years ago. At first, I just loved to draw about human behaviors, and sometimes I drew about my relationship. Then I decided to share it on social media. I love how people relate to my illustrations and I become a part of the relationship that reminds them of their loved ones. It’s a good feeling to make someone feel loved or remind them how beautiful love is and make their day better, including making them miss someone. So that feeling increases my passion for drawing nowadays,” says Kornsarin Pattarasopak to Bored Panda.
