After like four hours of anxious babysitting, she finally sobered up enough to eat and walk around, and spent the rest of the night sleeping it off on my lap. #CarmillaKitten pic.twitter.com/LATsWiqLyo

I am glad that the cat is okay and that was actually pretty darn funny. Carmilla is such a pretty black kitty and I love the cat name Bela Lugosi. Don't leave your drugs unattended in front of your cat. Also, don't leave your food unattended either.
Too many times this does not have such a cute ending, though. Such things should not be taken so lightly as the op.
Many, and I mean many years ago, I had a pretty serious drug habit. In a moment of stupid drug induced paranoia, I left the stuff I was preparing to use sitting unattended on my coffee table. I didnt go far, in fact only about 3 feet. I had that undeniable drug fueled urge to peer out my window at the world, who I was positive was silently judging me. Well in the time it took me to go the 3 feet and let my eyes dart around suspiciously for a moment or two, my very tiny dog hopped up on the table and ate it all. This was a 5 pound dog who just ate enough drugs to mess up a hundred pound idiot, QUE FREAK OUT. I panicked, I yahoo'd, I cried, I prayed to every deity I had ever heard of, all the while my dog lounged on the sofa with this strange almost smirk and enjoyed the entertainment and prolly the buzz. After an hour she was her old self, it took me a bit longer to recover. As a side note, she lived a long happy life, and I am 15 years clean this year.
Congratulations
Congratulations! I was at a "friend's" house (you know, those people you thought were friends but you get clean and realize they weren't), and his dog got into something. I was high as a kite. My friend didn't seem terribly concerned. But totally ruined my high, was way too high to even get an Uber to take the dog to the vet and just hung around watching the dog for hours. She ended up being ok. Did that get me to clean up my acct though? No. Took another year, but I just hit 3yrs 9mos.
Congratulations, better late than never, be safe, be happy !!!
good job!
Cute little goblins. I'm glad Carmilla is now fine. I love the writing style, makes the story more hilarious than frightening (as I'm sure it was at the time)
