I Create Intricate Pen Drawings On Coasters With Floral Motives

I create intricate drawings on coasters. Most of the drawings are drawn on white card coasters 9 cm in diameter. I usually use pens with points between 0.28 to 0.5 mm.

My earlier drawings were inspired by hanafuda cards, which are traditional Japanese playing cards used for gambling, featuring seasonal flowers and plants.

This is my first drawing, done in November 2015. I took a mug at work and drew a circle on lined paper. I arbitrarily filled in the blank circle while taking calls and uploaded the final result on my Facebook, receiving a positive response that encouraged me to keep drawing.

I have drawn almost 200 of these circles since the first one.
