Japan’s Folkloric Modernity (a Mexican’s Perspective)

I took a short trip to Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) with some friends of mine, where I was astonished by the beautiful mix of tradition, folklore, and the modern, organized city it is. It is extraordinary how every time we got lost, we found some beautiful shrine or temple, hiding in this surreal place.
I am a 19 year-old, self-taught photographer who resides in Mexico, and I got into photography about 7 months ago.
