I Photograph Egrets In The Blue World

I am Kunito Imai, a nature photographer in Tokyo. Last year, I moved to a place near a pond where I can enjoy photography through the year.

Although I live in the middle of Tokyo, this pond provides a lot more motifs than ordinary city dwellers imagine. The egret is one of my favorites. The bird is truly magnificent to see and photograph.

I photograph them and then process the images using Adobe Lightroom “Cross Process 2”. That preset makes your photos blue or green.
