Japan Hosts Winter Light Festival And The Results Are Astounding

From October 15 to May 7, the ordinary Nagashima Resort in Kuwana City, Japan is transformed into a beautifully lit wonderland. This year’s theme was Kumamoto landmarks. Elaborate displays of lights formed mountains, tunnels, ponds, and more.

This year’s display was even more incredible than last year’s, as the light artists used individual bulbs to form a complicated scene, almost like painting.
