Me neither. That was an idiotic question, trying to be tricky.
Load More Replies...The first question is not correct. Mixing English description and mathematics is not precise. If you said "what is half of two, plus two", then it would be correct - the comma matters. But it is written as a full equation. This is why we don't use English to write equations in mathematics. The rest were pretty trivial.
Yeah, I disagree with that question's "solution" as well.
Load More Replies...I stopped after the first question. Not even looking at the second. 🤦♂️
I made it to the second question. "2. Which of these words is the odd one out?". My answer was Flamingo. It is the only one with three syllables. Because we are talking about WORDS not ANIMALS.
I chose chicken because it's the only word with an odd amount of letters; the other three have an even amount of letters.
Load More Replies...Ridiculously unfair first question. Like others, I shan’t continue. That’s an unsound and imprecise mathematical question.
You went with "what is half of (2+2)", but they asked "what is half of 2 + 2". It is a stupid trick. The rest was not so bad.
Load More Replies...Nonsense quiz. The first question isn't even correct, never mind it being a trick question.
people who think the answer to number 1 is 3 are the same people that have to use a calculator to figure out what is the change from $1.00 when something cost 79c
This is utter b******t based on semantics which can be read multiple ways , if you chose to be a total a*s you read what is the half of 2 plus an additional 2 which makes 3 , normal people read what is the half of 2+2 which is 2. If all questions are like this , it is utter shyte
Most of these questions are not suitable for multiple-choice format. If you ask me what I should light first and list "a match" as one of the options, you've already made the question stupid.
2 is the correct answer. The question is what is half of "2+2", Not what is half of 2 then add 2. The people who wrote this can't even express math problems correctly, so theirs is the low IQ.
Question #1 is BS, BP. Based on how the equation was written, half of "2+2" = 2, not 3.
Yes, this one has been discussed. Many times! If the question were What is half two, plus two, then it's three, but it clearly states "What is half two plus two" then the answer is two.
Load More Replies...The first question has nothing to do with intelligence, it is an intentionally misleading question.
None of these questions are an indicator of intelligence, they are riddles. I have no issue with riddles, but call the quiz what it is, don't try to pull us is with a misleading title!
I tried this once, and was pissed at the trick question 1 and snarky explanation. I let it go and tried again tonight. Question 2 was which WORD was the odd one out, not which animal. The WORD flamingo has 3 syllables and all the others have two. I think that the ****s who came up with this quiz are the type of people who feel an undeserved superiority complex because they can mislead and misdirect with their questions and snigger when others fall for the ruse. Nice one, ****s. You got me.
23/26 Not bad. They tested me in the 4th grade and I had an IQ of 167. I think I've gotten stupid over the years.
After the first question and understanding what kind of quiz this is: 25/26. But this has nothing in common with any IQ test I know. So I highly doubt this is one in the first place.
I gave up halfway through. For those who stopped at the first trick question, you missed such delights as "A farmer has 10 cows. All but 3 ran away. How many are left?" and "Nine apples are sitting in a bunch on the counter. You take four of them. How many do you have?". Either I'm a total Mensa level genius, or these questions are *really* dumb (and more designed to trick than to challenge).
That question did Question correctly. When you write a sentence to be read you add or leave out punctuation in order to be clear with you intentions. There was no space or punctuation therfore the question was asking about the math equation per how it written.
Question 2 , another b******t question 3 birds an a lizard , who does not belong all birds have 2 legs , the lizard has 4 all birds have feathers the lizard has none but we go with it does not fit because a lizard is a non bird , forgetting that birds are descendants of dinosaurs just like the lizard.
Me neither. That was an idiotic question, trying to be tricky.
