Woman Mocks Social Media And Shows The Reality Behind Those Perfect Instagram Photos (30 New Pics)
Social media is an inseparable part of our modern society; we can hardly imagine our lives without it anymore. But the way we actually live our reality and what we put out to the world to see can be slightly, or drastically, different. There are two kinds of people on social media—those who have a glam, pitch-perfect life, and those who like to keep it real. With Geraldine West, you get the best of both worlds. The German influencer pokes fun at flawless and cliché Instagram photos and reveals what they would look like if social media was honest.
We've previously featured West's hilarious "Instagram vs. Reality" parody series that shows side-by-side pictures of herself, and occasionally her little pug, in the same exact situations, but from a completely different perspective. A perspective we can all relate to. But the reality one is also staged? I get its meant to be comedic but over exaggerated facial expressions and the like aren't really funny to me

Comedic images are funny to someone. To me these are like comics. These are not meant to be candid. That's why when ppl spend too much time online instantly gratifying their butt holes off they find less things as funny or good that are actually real. Its like addiction ya know

Now I’m no Instagram person and I rarely even take a selfie. Never posted a single thing on Instagram. I just think the pics on the right are equally as staged and cringe worthy as the ones on the left. And it misses the point also that just because the pics on the left are clearly staged, doesn’t make them less real. Taking a pic in front of a store you shopped at doesn’t make your shopping trip less real. Just because you have a grubby side doesn’t mean you don’t have a polished side too. I would say they must be jealous AF but it looks like the same chick.
