Years ago I was a plush maker. What does that mean? Well I made my living making stuffed animals! I made both traditional plush from a variety of fabrics and needles felted plush using a technique that “sculpted” the wool. And not to toot my own horn I was pretty good at it! I had my work published in a few magazines and had even won a few awards!

Sadly over time I developed something called repetitive motion syndrome, it basically caused horrible pain in my wrist anytime I would sewn or needle felt. I also developed allergies to most of the materials I was working with like wool & mohair. I tried alternative fibers including bamboo, but they never worked right. So over time I sadly gave up making plush for those reasons.

It’s been a dream of mine to have some of my plush designs recreated. With this it also makes them more affordable than a one of a kind plush!
