Once again I was wondering how to combine something retro with something modern, so this time I decided to do a strange combination of comic book heroes and Soviet propaganda posters.
The idea was to replace the Soviet heroes from the posters (such as workers, scientists, and political leaders) with nowadays popular comic heroes. This is the final result.

Spiderman
"The revolution has a beginning but the revolution has no ending."
Hulk
"No!"
No slivovitz? Great poster art. The Hulk looks a bit like Jack Lord.
Batman
"The glory of the Soviet nation, the glory of the pioneers of the cosmos."
Superman
"To the stars <we go> persistently and bravely, there's no ending to heroism."
Iron Man
"Be proud, Soviet man, you open the road from the Earth to the stars."
Unique idea, and very well executed. You could possibly do well as a freelance advertising artist.
Probably the most interesting and evocative art I've seen on BP. I hope to see they're for sale somewhere, and to see more of this artist's work.
These are very well executed. I would love to see more of your work here.
Your drawings are indeed very nicely done and you surely gave them that particular vibe of old soviet propaganda. Seems strange anyway that in none of them there are actually superheroes or villains from soviet countries and I'm sure that you know there are plenty in both the Marvel and DC universes. Would have been very cool to see the three Rasputin brothers in the one saying "Friendship forever" or Omega Red depicted somewhere...
Have you read the superman comic that is soviet union style? They have batman and others S well. These reminded me of the comic. They're really good.
