Su Blackwell is an English artist who creates fairytale-like book sculptures. She transforms flat pages into three-dimensional objects and constructs entire landscapes filled with mystery. Su finds her books in secondhand book shops and always reads them first before starting to sculpt.
Her latest series 'Dwelling' is inspired by folk stories. It features wood cottages, tree-huts, lighthouses and other structures that usually light up when they're inhabited. Su chose to illuminate her intricate sculptures and by doing so she added to them even more depth. "I have been compelled to create these dwellings now, as I am in the process of selling my house. I am leaving London, to possibly living in a quiet town by the sea. The process of buying a new house is daunting, an emotional upheaval."

These are all amazing! Do u have photos of ur works in progress? I cant imagine the time and effort that goes into al of this detail!
How can some of these gorgeous, complicated sculptures only get scores of 1 or 2? Doesn't make sense.
