idk but if you go to Michael's arts and crafts store, they sell light bulbs for arts and crafts they are thicker and the tops screw off

You can buy containers like this from michaels that aren't actual light bulbs, so maybe they did that? The tops screw off like salt/pepper

These are all good ideas. However, the glass bulbs that I know are very thin, so filling them with water, soil, etc., could be dangerous.

The new bulbs are not safe for a lot of these products so you should really research before using. Especially with food and plants the bombs are very thin. Recycling is great but we have to be safe!
