After a short battle with cancer last year, my cat of 13 years died. Instead of wallowing in sorrow, we went to our vet and decided to adopt the cat pictured here. Her name is Lilly.
At the behest of our vet we decided to adopt her brother as well so that our other older cat wouldn’t be terrorized by a young kitten. It worked, Lilly and her brother Tom terrorize each other and generally leave our older cat, Oscar, alone.
A week after we brought Lilly & Tom home, I was watching TV and I decided to take a pic of Lilly behind me. It was only when I was editing it for an Instagram post to their account (@lillyandtomagainsttheworld) that I noticed that Lilly had become “The Most Interesting Cat In the World” in the pic.
Laughter ensued (and still does) when I noticed it and I just have to share it with the world.
