I Took A Challenge And Photographed Latvian Wedding Entirely With A Phone Camera
At the end of August Huawei challenged me to leave professional photo equipment at home and take wedding pictures entirely with Huawei P9 smartphone. As professional wedding photographer, for me this was unusual at best!
Aim of this experiment was to discover all opportunities P9 smartphone with dual camera had. In my opinion Huawei had done really well by this phone, cooperating with Leica, as picture colors are vivid and monochromes are well detailed.
Brave enough to have their wedding pictures be taken with smartphone was newlyweds Ilga and Guntis, who celebrated their big day in Turaida reservoir church, later choosing Gutmanala near Sigulda for photo session. Photos by Kaspars Garda
