I replace some of the events from my original poster (see below) with personal milestones of the recipient.

It hasn’t been easy to find a milestone representing a whole year recently, which would be fulfilling and relatable for everyone – history hasn’t been kind to us, don’t you agree?

That’s where personalization comes to the rescue! Yay!

Many of the life stories I made into Birthday signs are truly inspiring and I love what I do, I am grateful for every project.

And here are some of the bits which my mind created, not based on real people (almost).

    I am Val, and every morning given to me in this world I try to help someone, make them smile or at least feel easier about themselves.I've become an artist in 2014 - my Simpsons-inspired portraits (I sincerely hope so) brought joy, united families, provoked jokes and added some fun to people's walls.But what matters to me the most is learning through these projects. I've met so many great people, learned about their interests, mindsets which allowed them to stay close to their loved ones, fashion choices which inspired many changes in my own appearance, meaning behind every personal detail... I will never unlearn how good people can be completely different but still be able to find all the same true values: love, appreciation, kindness, humor, understanding and support.I have developed into someone who enjoys helping people express these things through my art. Now I mostly concentrate on my "The Amazing Road" and "The Marvelous Journey" designs, which I personalize for those who ask. My learning continues. I keep each drop of precious wisdom with me, to remember in times of struggle (like the war in my country). Without this wisdom, it'd be impossible to conquer the darkness, so let's just carry on.I appreciate each one of you who took time to read this entry. Thank you and stay kind.
