I Spent A Summer Trespassing And Painting Hauntingly Beautiful Graveyards
Graveyards can be magical, haunting, gorgeous places. They especially are in Charleston, SC, a place dominated by its rich (and sometimes spooky) colonial history. Amidst the decay and the crumbling stone, I find beauty. Tucked behind the overgrown Spanish moss and the tangles of weeds, there are centuries of history waiting to be discovered. My YARD series tells the story of some of Charleston’s best graveyards (some I had to trespass to get to).
