I’m a British miniaturist in Los Angeles, and I took a break from miniature sets and miniature props to dream up this 6 inch tall Captain Hook and I filmed my hands as I worked.
From conception sketches to the final sculpture with lit-up lantern (with Tinkerbell trapped inside), it took me about 3 days. He was enormous fun to make, but the highlight was probably the tiny dab of metallic paint to make his gold tooth.
