I have spent my entire adult life fascinated by ‘Great Expectations’ and old buildings covered in ivy. So, for the last few years, I tried to discover every single architectural wonder in my small town in Eastern Europe – Iasi, Romania.

I started this project as a tribute to my hometown and to make people aware of the beauty that lies hidden at every corner. Sometimes, you have to look past the fence and really see your surroundings.

Many of the houses presented here are abandoned and nature blended perfectly with the already-charming-architecture. I like to believe that these photographs make you feel the nostalgia of another era.
