My daughter and I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter last Christmas and loved it! Everything about it was totally magical, and our favorite was picking out wands at Ollivanders.
She asked if I would do a painting to remember our trip, so I painted Ollivanders with everyone out front. I was more than happy to honor her request. : )
I played the soundtrack and drank homemade butter beer, all cozy and warm in the glowy house while it snowed outside.
A very crazy thing that happened was the day I painted Snape ended up being the day Alan Rickman passed away. : (
Working on this felt like I extended my vacation for a week. I want to go back!
