I Paint Marine Life On A Mission To Raise Awareness For Biodiversity And Conservation

I have been working since 2014 in a series of paintings called “Marine World” with the aim of raising awareness and educating people about our marine wildlife, especially endangered species. Illustrating how beautiful and colourful they are is a way of touching people’s hearths. Sometimes we forget and give for granted all we have, unfortunately corporate greed and hunger for money is rapidly destroying all the natural resources and if we continue this way there will be nothing left for future generations. There is a need for more awareness in the public and more lobby in the government in order to strengthen conservationist policies and restrict the depletion of natural resources.

Art is and has been always part of the humanity and will continue until the end.It has a purpose of enjoyment, education and thinking. I have chosen art as means of expressing myself and to cause impact in small social groups, starting with my family and friends and then expanding to the local community and hopefully on day at a national and international level.
