I’ve been traveling for 25 years, in over 90 cities/states and 25 countries across the globe. And name it, I’ve used every camera in the book. From disposable cameras filmed in Kodak in the 90s, to the Canon & Sony point-and-shoot digital cameras of the early 2000s, to even the Blackberries and Polaroids, Leica and Fuji, I’ve used almost every kind of camera to capture my travel adventures. In 2010, I’ve shifted to the iPod then the iPhone 5c, and now my favorite is my trusty iPhone 6 (I haven’t even upgraded to a new phone in 3 years!). I’m not a photographer or anything but when I do travel, I’d like to have nice photos. Some of my photos are kept raw and unfiltered, some are edited using simply iPhone apps like VSCO, Enlight, and IzkizCam (if I think the mood of the photo calls for it). I don’t know how to use Photoshop to save my life either.

My husband and I do have some more professional cameras with us when we travel, but I still prefer my iPhone. Nothing beats having to just capture a moment in a millisecond when you catch it in that instant. It feels more candid and a bit more organic.
