I Offered To Take Free Family Portraits For My Neighbors In Uganda And The Response Was Beautiful
I’ve always felt like I need to be bold in my photographic adventures. Approach strangers, try new things, and the like. So one Sunday, I went over to two of my neighbors whom I had never spoken to before and offered to take some pictures of their family for free.
They were skeptical at first but soon as we started shooting, they got into it and it turned out to be whole day’s adventure!

These are fabulous photos -- the kids' faces are so spirited and full of light that I found it hard to take my eyes off of them. I especially love the last one, "Mother's Joy," with that fantastic smile and wonderfully colorful garment she's wearing. You really captured the beauty of these Ugandan people! Thank you!
