I Make Magical Glow In The Dark Jewelry I Call Glowies

Greetings! My name is Monique Lula and I am a Glow in the Dark Artist. I have been obsessed with glitter and glowies since I was a little girl. Some of my first magical adventures included watching my Grandmothers garden for fairy sightings. I collected anything I could that was glow in the dark. I had color changing liquid crystal unicorn stickers on my bedroom mirror. It was only the beginning! I was always told I should have my own store, even before the internet was a thing.

I could spend all day telling you about the things I have created in my life, but it would take forever. I have always made jewelry. In my teens I began to learn real techniques which I still use today. In my twenties I found myself making textile art, and was making velvet pillows for Barneys New York. I moved to New Orleans with my boyfriend (who is now my husband) at age 22 and ultimately began my life of artistry while living near the French Quarter. Time of my life! Surrounded by the opulence of Mardi Gras and the exciting pace of a city that never stops celebrating was just what I needed. It was here I started to really focus on my deepest passion, finding light in the darkness.

Now I am back in Southern California where I am from with my Husband Rick, and our little Southern Belle daughter. I am so lucky to be able to do what I do! The special feelings you get when seeing something pretty and sparkling in the darkness is one of the greatest things I have experienced. And now I share it with people around the world. I make glow in the dark jewelry so you can carry a little bit of magical light with you when you venture in the darkness. It makes you so happy! And I have so many Glowies to show you! ~Monique Lula
