I am studying Computer Engineering in Bangladesh. Even though my field of study is tech-related, I love arts and crafts and making new things from old products.

Art is a really big hobby of mine and I want to show everyone that cool things can be made even out of rubbish like cigarette boxes. I’m a major Whovian and making a “T.A.R.D.I.S.” was the first thing that came to my mind when I found a bunch of empty cigarette boxes in the cupboard.

With just cigarette boxes, glue, tape, and acrylic paint, I created my own little model “Time And Relative Dimension In Space” to lose myself in the world of timey-wimey, wibbly-wobbly!

Raw materials

I started out with a few empty cigarette boxes.

Four sides

After cutting in the appropriate places, I glued the parts together to form a box.

Adding the top

I made three thiner boxes out of the boxes(!) to make the top of the T.A.R.D.I.S.

Covering up

The surface was covered with white paper, and cut outs from the leftovers were used to make the impressions of the windows and gate.

After coloring

I used dark blue acrylic paint and cut out little windows from regular paper and glued them on.

Final product

Voila!
