I Made A Photo Series Inside An Abandoned House

After discovering the fate of one of my female ancestors, I made a photo series wanting to showcase a more hidden side of the female narrative. A story of all those women who had no say in the matter of their own life, no right of property and no right to vote. Of those who spent their life behind laced curtains and weathered walls. This series portrays the ever-changing symbiosis between the woman and the house, in which the house serves as the woman’s home but also becomes her fate.
