I Illustrate Incredible Marine Life Facts With A Fun Twist

When I started diving, I always wanted to know more. What’s that fish? Why does it have a black dot? What does it eat? How does it sleep? 5-year old questions kind of thing. Some of these questions could be answered on the spot by the experienced dive-masters’ hivemind. But later, when I tried to dig deeper into certain subjects I quickly realised that the almighty Internet has surprisingly little to offer!

Of course, there is loads of scientific studies available with some mind-blowing findings but very often they lack proper translation into language that everyone can understand. Being an architect myself AKA definitely not a marine biologist, I was craving something that could be engaging, fun and as exciting as ocean life actually is. So I decided to do it myself!

That’s how my illustrator / science communicator job started, gradually evolving into cooperations with real marine biologists, helping conservation organisations with their campaigns and lots of more incredibly rewarding collaborations.
