We’ve all been there – you think of your next travel destination, Google it and see lovely photos that convince you to go. And in case you don’t do your research well enough before you go, you see too many tourists in a place you’ve come to enjoy. Extremely too many. And nobody dreams of standing in long queues either to take a photo or just to order a snack.

As I prefer travelling to the less crowded cities and villages, I’ve made a list of my top 10 places that aren’t packed with tourists and where you can get the whole range of positive travel impressions.
