Long ago when I was a teenager someone introduced me to Tolkien’s books and I read the Hobbit. I was around 14yo when my dad bought me the Lord of the Rings trilogy (1997) and I was the most happiest person in the world. Then came the Silmarillion and my complete world changed. I lived immersed on a fantasy world full of war, drama, tragedy and beauty. I still keep some illustrations I did about Fëanor.

Now several years later I have come back to the art world and decide to start a tribute to this book that stole my young heart and I want to share the results with all of you. I also did some speedpainting of few of the illustrations i hope you appreciate as well. When I started I never thought how much my drawing skills and style was going to change but I can say I am amazed.
