Social anxiety used to be called shyness ; then it morphed into being introverted ; now , voila ! We have social anxiety.
There's a difference between being shy/introverted, to where you'd *rather*spend time alone then with lots of people.....and then having social anxiety where it cripples your day to day life because you can't have simple human interactions without feeling sick and anxious.
