Love is a protean and complex concept. Love is a feeling of affection, a desire to care about someone. It is also a kind of sacrifice for the happiness of the other. It is common to think that when we talk about love we mean love for the other human being. But what about love for oneself?

It is getting much complex here. On the one hand, everyone has heard such statements from our family as: ‘You don’t love yourself! You have to take care of yourself more!’, ‘You shouldn’t allow to treat yourself like this! You don’t love yourself!’, ‘If you loved yourself more – that would have never happened to you!’ and so on. On the other hand, the information about love for oneself strikes the public and is immediately classified as bad manners and narcissism. I started to develop the topic and the series named ‘becoming’ arose.
