This inspirational video is launched to celebrate being one’s true self. This time I just wanted to step back, recharge and start all over again and that is why the video is all about being oneself, with no impact of rules and boundaries that we impose on ourselves and others. Just all-natural and raw, no fake. It is not accidental the working title of the clothes design collection was NO BULLSHIT. I really wanted to put it straight this time.
This video is featuring amateur models of various ages and body types, people found on social media, colleagues, and even myself. They all embody the philosophy of Julia Janus designer clothes that celebrates diversity and claims that being a style icon has no age and size limits. One of the models, Irena, who is 72 now, has even become the face of my new clothing collection, as she reveals the slothing styles perfectly. I have asked all of them to dance as if no one is watching, and they did. You can feel their energy flowing freely.
An atmosphere of freedom is strengthened even more with the help of a dynamic soundtrack written by American artist Arlo Tobin. The longtime Julia Janus collaborators delivered the film work and post-production – director Alina Lu and cameraman Andrey Motorichev, a duo that had also worked on other successful video projects for the clothing brand.
