I got down to about question 10 without being able to answer a single one, then gave up. Most of them were scenarios or situations that I simply have not, and could not imagine, ever being in; the few that I could imagine didn't have any answer that matched my reaction. Edit: I 'failed' at a job interview once when asked to provide an example of how I handled conflict. Making sure it doesn't happen had always worked for me, but the HR lady didn't seem to agree.

You got a lot further than I did. I scanned the questions beforehand, realized that my conflict-resolution strategy involves not putting myself in situations where conflict is likely to occur, and didn't have to answer a single one.😄 ("The only winning move is not to play." WarGames, 1983)

Doesn't really work for quite a lot of them though. Like the dog one, #4, where's the option to write a polite, non-sarcastic but firm, note, or just pop round and ask them nicely? Or #6 getting asked for a report at 10 in the evening, where the only logical response is to ignore it, then tell them in the morning that they know full well your conditions of employment don't require you to look at messages out-of-hours, but you'll get onto it now in work hours if they still think it's urgent enough to supersede all your other tasks.

Problem-solver. Sounds about right. Except when I decide it's someone else's problem 😂

I am apparently a mediator -- "You wield empathy like a universal remote, zapping through static until everyone is on the same channel. You believe a cup of tea and a dash of listening can fix almost anything. People gravitate toward you when tempers rise because they trust your steady vibe. Just remember: your own needs deserve airtime too, not every song has to be a duet." I *can* be. Outside of work, though, not so much. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was scammed out of $154,000. I spoke with a Russian man to whom I had sent money in Bitcoin and almost lost it all. However, Mr. Dennis, who was just starting out, intervened in a timely manner and recovered $154,000 worth of Bitcoin for me. He really does a great job; I've recommended him to several friends and colleagues, who have become satisfied customers. He's been a huge help in my trading business. You can contact him. Hacking and Fund Recovery. He's the best and has a wide range of skills in recovering and exposing scammers. I'm glad I got my money back; there's no shame in being a victim of one of these sophisticated and predatory operations. By this, you can recover some or all of your lost funds and prevent fraudulent attacks. Mediator. A lot of parents become mediators I think. To keep the peace at home and to give everyone a fair chance.

Oh boy - there's so much wrongness here. Game night: Sit back and watch. Barking dog: Report to local authorities, let them deal with it. Boss emails at 10pm: Remind him that work is done during paid work hours, message visibly CC'd to HR. Discussing politics: Join in. Friend owes money: That's why you don't lend without a written agreement. A grey living room, what is this, a psych ward? Speakerphone call: Join into the conversation saying that it was clearly an invitation or the call wouldn't be being shared with everybody. Correct trivia answer? Just DDG it... A harsh comment on my post? Happens here ;) depends on whether or not the harshness was justified. The chance of me ever dressing as an Avenger is maybe 0.00000000001%. But, to be honest, the best way to avoid conflict is to avoid being in a situation where it can happen, and if that is unavoidable, just sit back and watch. If a bunch of grow-nass adults are yelling at each other, explain why it's up to *me* to sort it out.
