Parents know how frustrating kids become when they won’t eat. For every attempt they make, children have an answer to refuse with.
However, one deli in Altoona, Pennsylvania, named their meals in the kid’s menu after these popular phrases. The selections include “I Don’t Know”, “I Don’t Care”, “I’m Not Hungry”, and “I Don’t Want That”. What’s your kid’s most favorite choice?
They forgot the absolute teen favourite, the Whatever double burger.
little tommy what do you want to eat? I don't care, I'm not hungry. That's $7.50!! :-)
never understood these "kids menu"...why kids can't eat something more interesting than fries, burger, chicken or pasta? Can't restaurant just make smaller portion of more evolved form of food?
Nah man, that would take effort, just stuff their faces with super greasy and salty food so they shut up.
Most of kids aren't adventurous with food. I know I was (and still am) so even in kindergarten I was choosing the weirdest sounding things from menu and and we split portion with my mom. I don't remember EVER ordering from kids menu. But that's the exception... Even in my family most of <10 yo kids doesn't want anything beside french fries or spaghetti. I remember our holiday stay in 5star hotel with AMAAAZING dinner buffet when I was 8. For me it was a paradise- Everyday I chose something different. But my 11 yo brother just ate spaghetti bolognese FOR 10 FUC***G DAYS!!! XD
Kids normally like simple, known food... :) and those are something that most kids will eat and then you don't have to struggle throughout dinner to make them eat something they don't like.
i give them that kind of food, but not all the time. My older one can't be more please when we go to my mother and she make a veggies platter with carrot, celery, cauliflower, etc... it's all about the education. my kids love Chips but they love veggies too. if you forbid fast food, they'll jump on the plate when they'll have the occasion. They need to learn control or they'll never have it later in life and then it'll be a problem
yes sure, it's the "easy way"...but if you learn early enough different taste to kids they will love them too :)
Simple, known food? My kids (3yr & 6yr) don't know hot dogs, French Fries, grilled cheese or fish sticks. I mean they know them but not eat them at home. I don't understand how people can feed their kids with such unhealthy, salty & fatty foods without any veggies.
My grandson, who just turned six, has been shocking waiters for a couple years because he always orders a salad. How far have we fallen when a kid wanting vegetables is cause for confusion and uproar?
Because fries, burgers, chicken and pasta are typically liked by every young child. Kids don't want "evolved" food, they want food their parents won't let them eat at home...lol. That's the fun of going out to restaurants...at least it was for me.
My thinking exactly. Often the food is even particularly inapropriate for kids, with extremely high salt content.
Why do you people have to constantly b***h about things
