Amy Poehler Did Not Play Along In An Interview And Won The Internet Over With Her Answers

Just last week Hollywood Reporter announced their “40(ish) Most Powerful People in Comedy” list, celebrating the funniest people in the industry. It was no shocker that Amy Poehler, best known for her role of Leslie Knope in Parks and Recreation, was on that list. Poehler has many awards and nominations for her comedic and acting skills, but those aren’t her only talents, as Poehler has written and produced many of her own shows and books.

Quick wit and funny remarks are, naturally, expected of such people like Amy Poehler and it’s probably what the Hollywood Reporter interviewer expected from the comedian during a small Q&A for the magazine. However, instead of funny short answers, Poehler surprised the interviewer, as well as the rest of the world, by not playing along.
